Giving Honor - A Service of Love
On FEBRUARY 14th, First Baptist Church of Cotton Valley will host a special event honoring our ladies in appreciation for who they are and all they do. The men of FBCCV will prepare and serve a meal to our ladies and bring some special music and a message. Ladies of FBCCV are encouraged to invite a friend to come and share in this experience.
Meet Our Pastor
Bro. Don Shirley, his wife Ami and four children, have been at FBCCV since September of last year. They bring with them a spirit of excitement and hope of what God can and will do in the future. "I see Cotton Valley as just the kind of place God used in the Bible. We don't think too much of ourselves, but we're willing to let God work. I can only imagine what great things are in store for us as we choose to follow God with our whole hearts."

Our vision is simple--Knowing Christ and making Him known. We strive to reach out to those who are in need and hurting, to teach and preach God's word in truth and boldness, to walk closely with the Lord who gave Himself for us, and to introduce the world around us to the God we know.
