CHILDREN'S CAMP 201o
Remember the five children we have at the Harris Baptist Encampment just outside of Minden this week. In addition to swimming, sports, hiking, etc., they will spend time each day in Bible study and worship. Pray that each of them would draw closer to God and to one another in Christ.
Meet Our Pastor
Bro. Don Shirley, his wife Ami and four children, have been at FBCCV since September of 2009. They bring with them a spirit of excitement and hope of what God can and will do in the future. "I see Cotton Valley as just the kind of place God used in the Bible. We don't think too much of ourselves, but we're willing to let God work. I can only imagine what great things are in store for us as we choose to follow God with our whole hearts."

2 Chronicles 7:12-14
"Then the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said to him: 'I have heard your prayer, and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice. When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.' "
