In addition, we have a Brotherhood ministry that meets the last Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. and an active women's ministry that meets for Bible study and special events throughout the year.

The Brotherhood of FBCCV will not meet at the regular time at the end of February.  Instead, there will be a special Men's Breakfast at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 7th.  We'll meet together for eggs, sausage, biscuits, pancakes and the like, share some ideas about ministry, and pray for the morning service.  This is a great time to ask some of those guys that have been coming occasionally to church to join us.  We'll have a great time together, so "Y'all come!"

Bro. Don Shirley, his wife Ami and four children, have been at FBCCV since September of last year.  They bring with them a spirit of excitement and hope of what God can and will do in the future.  "I see Cotton Valley as just the kind of place God used in the Bible.  We don't think too much of ourselves, but we're willing to let God work.  I can only imagine what great things are in store for us as we choose to follow God with our whole hearts."
