About us.
First Baptist Cotton Valley youth group exist to be a welcoming environment for all students grades 7-12 in the Cotton Valley and surrounding regions. We exist to be a place where teenagers can come and enjoy fun with their friends and to grow closer to other Christians. The number one reason that First Baptist Cotton Valley youth group exist is to help students to dive into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. Also, we exist to go into the world and revealing the love of Christ that has been so graciously given to us through Jesus' death and resurrection and we strive to love others around us the way Jesus tells us to.
Romans "Discovering Christianity"
During our Wednesday Night services we are studying through the book of Romans and we are Discovering Christianity" for the reason that Romans is essentially what we believe as Christians. So come and join us as we travel through this amazing book of the bible.
"Renewed"
First Baptist Cotton Valley meets every Wednesday Night @ 6 p.m. in the youth room for "Renewed" the name of our Wednesday night service is based on the verses Colossians 3:1-10 that tells us to put off our old life and to put on the new self that is being RENEWED in knowledge after the image of it's creator.
Proverbs "A book of wise words"
The youth are studying and discussing through the book of Proverbs on Sunday Nights @ 5 p.m., it is a great time just to study God's word together as we grow closer as a youth group and closer to Christ.
Meet our Youth Minister
Joseph Clark has been at FBCCV since the summer of 2010, he brings with him a passion to see young people changed by the gospel of Jesus Christ and to see teenagers walking closely with Him. " I love to see teenagers that are serious about living a Jesus centered life and being truly set apart from the world for the gospel of Christ".
