FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF COTTON VALLEY

DRY CREEK CAMP : JULY 19-23

Get your stuff together, because we leave at 8 a.m. on  Monday to go to Dry Creek Baptist Encampment for a week of activities, recreation, Bible study and worship.  You'll be meeting new friends and getting the chance to draw closer to God.  Bring your Bible, and get ready for an awesome week!

Don't Forget...

You'll need to bring a pillow (or pillows), twin sized linens or sleeping bag, your own blanket and towels, casual clothes, tennis shoes, personal toiletry items, swim wear, and some nicer clothes for the evening services.  In addition, bring your Bible, along with an expectant heart, listening ears, and a positive attitude.  Dress codes apply, so be sensibly modest and you should have no problems.  If you do happen to put on something that is inappropriate, someone will discreetly ask you to change.  Bring spending money for the Snack Shack and the Country Store and Gift Shop.  If you have prescription drugs, they need to be checked in with the camp nurse during registration and used as needed.
DON'T BRING cell phones, pagers or MP3 players.  If you are found with these, they will be confiscated.  Use common sense:  don't bring fireworks, firearms, paint ball guns, water guns, shaving cream (except to shave), skates or skateboards, tobacco, alcohol, illegal drugs, etc. A $5 charge will be assessed to return any items confiscated during the week!
There is a pay phone that can be used for collect calls or with a calling card.  This is primarily for emergency use, so limit any non-emergency calls.
If your parents need to reach you during camp, or for more information, they can contact the camp at:
